Adult Performance – for Adult music students and teachers
Annual Convention – occurs in late June/early July for mutual encouragement, professional growth, and showcases selected students in convention recitals and festivals.
Certificate of Merit (CM) – This graded curriculum develops students to musical excellence through the study of technique, ear training, sight reading/singing, and music theory. A performance evaluation completes the two-part components.
Other CM programs:
Senior Award – To acknowledge graduating high school seniors who satisfy the CM standards.
Young Artists Guild (YAG) – a highly competitive program for students to receive pre-professional training, mentorship, and performance opportunities.
Composition – Composers Today, Friends of Today’s Music, Young Composers Guild
Membership – Active, Provisional, Cal Plan, Student, Business Affiliate
Piano Concerto Solo Competition
VOCE – Voice, Orchestral Instruments, Chamber Ensemble
MTAC Foundation – Donations to support music education, scholarships, grants, and awards.
Improvisation – Improvisation teaches techniques that enable students to become complete musicians – artists that have both technical skills as well as spontaneous creativity and self-expression.
